Meet Dan McDonough Jr.

Dan McDonough Jr. is the executive chairman of Elauwit, a media and telecommunications company, and a founding partner of Woden, a brand narrative agency. He also serves as managing partner at Baron Hunter, a strategic consulting firm, and has a background in national journalism, continuing to publish widely on business, technology, and politics. Dan is the regional coordinator for the Burke to Buckley Program of the National Review Institute in Philadelphia. A long-time advocate for grassroots economic development in Haiti, he actively supports entrepreneurial initiatives and serves on the board of the Haitian Education & Leadership Program (HELP). Driven by a deep love for Haiti, Dan champions HELP’s mission to empower the country's most promising students and build sustainable, local impact.

“Haitian Education and Leadership Program is a powerful engine for change—high impact, low overhead—supporting Haiti’s most talented young people not by reinventing the system, but by equipping them to improve it from within. We don’t just educate students—we empower future leaders to transform Haiti on their own terms.”
