Meet Delphine Gardère

Delphine Gardère is the CEO of Société du Rhum Barbancourt and the fifth-generation leader of Haiti’s oldest rum distillery. Raised in Haiti and educated in France, the UK, and the U.S., she brings a global perspective and a deep personal connection to the legacy of her family’s business. With a background in finance, marketing, and luxury goods, Delphine returned to Haiti in 2016 to modernize and internationalize the Barbancourt brand. Under her leadership, the distillery has expanded production, strengthened sustainability efforts, and increased female representation across its operations. A passionate advocate for Haitian craftsmanship and community empowerment, she continues to shape the future of premium rum on the global stage.
