For over thirty years, the Haitian Education and Leadership Program has built a strong community dedicated to supporting scholars through university and preparing them to lead, serve, and strengthen Haiti. Even in the face of gang violence and national turmoil, we deliver scholarships, mentorship, and leadership training—empowering them not only to succeed academically, but to drive the movement for a better future.

Yet the challenge remains immense. Fewer than 1% of Haitians have access to higher education, and of those who do, 85% leave the country—worsening economic inequality and fueling cycles of instability and violence.

But change begins with one. One determined student. One donor willing to invest. One teacher committed to ensuring no scholar falls behind. One Haitian choosing to transform their country from within.
